Watch out guys, if you’re receiving e-mails regarding Breaking Dawn’s casting, it’s FAKE!! Scam!

Twilight fans have blown the lid off of a scam preying on devoted followers of the Twilight film franchise. Bogus e-mails announcing fake casting calls for The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — the potential fourth film in the wildly-popular saga — have been popping up on Twilight fansites and in the inboxes of Twi-Hards all of the country in recent weeks, according to The Casting Scoop.

The e-mails encourage applicants interested in walk-on parts and role as extras in the next Twilight film to apply immediately, promising pay ranges from $80-250 after forking over a “registration fee” to a casting website.

“First of all, I knew it wasn’t credible because ‘Breaking Dawn’ doesn’t go into production for several months, so no casting director would have been hired yet,” says Casting Director Lana Veenker, who handled Northwest casting on the first Twilight film. “Also, the shoot location hasn’t even been announced! How would anyone even know which city or country to be casting in?”
