Kristen Stewart believes that she needs a face transplant…..

June 16, 2010 at 5:03 PM (Kristen Stewart)

American actress Kristen Stewart believes that she needs a face transplant as fans have criticized her for looking glum. The 20-year-old Twilight Saga star wants a face transplant so that she can smile and look happy while meeting her fans.

Stewart accepted that fame for her is difficult and she is very often criticized for looking sullen in public. She also admitted that she tries hard to smile and look happy when she’s approached by strangers, but can never relax fully, reports News.com.au. “I totally am more comfortable now. I try not to have that thing that people have which is like a celebrity skin and I think that’s maybe where I run into problems,” Stewart said.

“I have had so many people say, ‘Why don’t you just play the part? Just like, go smile, talk about whatever they want you to talk about.’ It’s like, ‘I do, I really try to do that.’ I guess I should get a face transplant or something… But it’s gotten weird. I’ve like, relinquished control,” she added.

But in the end, Stewart has no plans of changing her persona for others.

“People are much better at doing this than I am and that’s fine and I’m getting better and whatever, but I’m not gonna try to force myself to do anything,” Stewart said on a US TV show Access Hollywood. (ANI)

Kristen Stewart Featured In Elle UK

June 3, 2010 at 10:56 PM (Kristen Stewart)

On Twilight: ‘With Twilight, we never thought it was going to be so huge; we never thought we’d do a second, a third. I’m quite nervous about the third one, actually. It’s so such a privilege to be able to play a role for so long. Also, it’s such a product now; it didn’t start out as a product. I read the first book and thought, “Wow, this is a pager turner.” There was something in the script – the energy. It’s raw desire, that’s what that book is. Which is why it’s weird that little kids read it. I’m like, “What are you thinking about when you’re reading it?” I thought that it was going to be a really simple, overly dramatic – which was what was attractive about it – rotten love story. When they cast me it wasn’t like “Omigod, I got this huge movie”; it was like, “OK, I got this film.” You have to rev up to it.’

On fame: ‘What you don’t see are the cameras shoved in my face and the bizarre intrusive questions being asked, or the people falling over themselves, screaming and taunting to get a reaction. All you see is an actor or a celebrity lit up by a flash…A lot of the time I can’t handle it. It’s f***ed. I never expected that this would be my life.’

On growing up: ‘My family are amazing. I had like, the perfect upbringing. It sucks for people like Lindsay [Lohan], but it’s not her fault that she’s so off the rails.’

Kristen and Robert Among “Most Beautiful”

April 28, 2010 at 3:29 PM (Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson)

Both Robert and Kristen are listed in People’s Most Beautiful People annual issue:

World’s Most Beautiful 2010- Robert Pattinson, 23.
His pale, otherworldly complexion may make girls swoon, but the British heartthrob, 23, says looking the part of a lovesick vampire in the Twilight series isn’t quite as thrilling: “Having that makeup put on every single day, as soon as you get it taken off it’s like, ‘Oh, you do look normal. You look healthy now.”

Beautiful at Every Age- Kristen Stewart, 20.
When you think Valley girl the Twilight star, who plays tortured loner Bella Swan, doesn’t exactly come to mind. And you won’t catch this California native slaving over the latest fashion and beauty trends. “I think it’s ridiculous that you need to look a certain way to be conventionally pretty,” she declares.

Kristen Stewart Will Be on the Cover of an Upcoming Issue of Elle UK!

April 17, 2010 at 10:18 PM (Kristen Stewart)

Since Twilight fever swept the nation, we’ve had our eyes fixed on Kristen Stewart’s wardrobe. On the red carpet she takes on daring looks that most Hollywood stars would shy away from – stand-out looks have come from Proenza Schouler, Burberry, and graphic Pucci numbers. Off-duty, however, Kristen quickly ditches the heels and minis in favour of jeans and Converse. But whether Kristen’s wearing a strapless Oscar de la Renta gown or checked shirt and leather leggings, her smouldering eye and rock chick attitude give this rising star an achingly cool edge.

Love Kristen? Subscribe to ELLE and be the first to see her issue. Coming Soon.

Kristen Stewart Explains Why She Cut Her Hair for ‘The Runaways’

April 12, 2010 at 7:37 PM (Kristen Stewart)

“It was fine. I’ve worn wigs before, just not with such … I just felt such a tactile thing with Joan [that I cut my hair for the role],” she told MTV News on the red carpet of “The Runaways” premiere. “She holds all of her energy in her hands. I can be Bella without my hair, but I couldn’t play Joan without.”

And while some teenage girls would not have been too eager to chop off their locks, Stewart said she didn’t have an emotional attachment to her strands. “I think Dakota was more emotional than I was, to be honest,” she said. “She, like, almost cried when I cut my hair. It was something I needed to do. I needed to feel the sweat coming down my face and, like, I needed to be able to touch it. I just needed to do it.”

Kristen Stewart Talks Her Upcoming Film ‘K-11′

April 12, 2010 at 2:31 AM (Kristen Stewart)

In the movie K-11, Kristen Stewart could get to work with two people she’s already really close to: Twilight co-star Nikki Reed – who’s slated to play the role of Mousey – and mom Jules Mann-Stewart. “She’s a really well-known script supervisor and she’s co-written this drama ‘K-11,’ which she’ll direct and I will be in,” Kristen dishes.

How would you feel about taking cues from your mom while on the job? Naturally, Kristen has some qualms, but overall she’s more stoked than worried.

“If she called me right now and said, ‘We’re making the movie,’ I would be really excited. I guess my question is, ‘How would it be to work with a parent?’ We’re really close and then, at the same time, we’re creatively very different. But, I think it would be cool if it happens.”

As for her career, Kristen says her parents pretty much give her the freedom to make her own decisions. “It was like a slow wearing down of like, ‘Okay, Kristen’s going to do what she’s going to do. She’s just going to do these movies.’ Not that they were against it … I sort of didn’t care anymore. I was like, ‘Are you guys cool with this?’”
